Our Office

At Allendale Dental, our goal is to provide you with the best dental care and make your dental visit as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Richard Barron started this practice over 40 years ago. He retired and transitioned the practice to Dr. Kunaal Goyal on July 16th, 2001.

We continue Dr. Barron's tradition of family oriented care while incorporating new techniques and ideas and providing our patients with the most advanced care.

Dr. Kunaal Goyal grew up in Broomall and graduated from Marple Newtown High School in 1983. He attended the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987. He continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, receiving his D.M.D. in 1991. Then he moved to New York City and completed a General Practice Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Goyal lived and practiced in New York for the next five years. He was also on the faculty of the New York University Dental School and a clinical instructor in the Mount Sinai Dental GPR program.

Offered a unique opportunity to do something adventurous, in 1996 Dr. Goyal relocated to the
Island of Guam in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Working first for a large health care organization, PacifiCare, and then in private practice, Dr. Goyal provided dental care to the native population as well as the families of US military personnel.

In 2000, Dr. Goyal moved back to the Philadelphia area and started working for the University of Pennsylvania Dental Care Network. Today, in addition to practicing at Allendale Dental, he continues to teach at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine on Fridays.
